No. The class cost of $100 does not cover the State application fee. The State will charge $150 for the CCL application (plus a $3 processing fee) when you apply for your license.

The class fee includes: range time, targets, eye protection, ear protection, handouts.

If your Illinois Concealed Carry License has expired, you will need to take the CCL Renewal class. You do not have to take the full 16 hour class again.

You can absolutely bring your own eye/ear protection! I encourage it! The provided equipment is available for any student that does not already have their own or if they forget it at home.

No, I do not allow the use of reloaded ammunition during in any of my classes.

Class time and range time should be spent working on students' skills. It would be a disservice to have to spend time diagnosing an ammunition issue when we could spend that time practicing. The quality control that factory ammo goes through is much higher than what reloaded ammo goes through.

Improperly made ammunition adds a level of risk that can be mitigated by using good factory made ammo.
