Basic Pistol

Overview

The Basic Pistol class is the next step for shooters that have already taken the Beginner Pistol class or a Private Lesson.

​

This class is a 1.5 hour class. We spend the first half hour in the classroom and the last hour in the range.

​​

​In the classroom, we:

  • Review Safety Rules

  • Inspect gear and clear firearms

  • Go over terms used in the class​

​In the range, we:

  • Work through guided live-fire drills designed to increase speed, defensive accuracy, and confidence

​Students are required to have

  • FOID card

  • Pistol

  • 2 magazines

  • 150 round of ammunition

    • Reloaded ammo is NOT allowed​
